Business-Idea.com is a web site and community that brings together entrepreneurs of all sorts from around the world to share ideas on starting a busines. My first impression of this site in early 2006 was it was just a bunch of get rich quick and internet opportunists trying to trawl in their next victim. I'm sure the site has its share of these but if you are careful, there are at least some good ideas on the site and no doubt some reputable participants.

 

The site has various sections to allow users to browse or search opportunities without registering, so you can at least take a look around and see if this is for you before you provide any details. I've registered for their alerts service which sends me an email when opportunities that mmatch some defined criteria are entered into the system. I've had this in place for about a year without any unsolicited spam as a result so they are doing the right thing in that respect.

 

Their blog provides a seemingly endless stream of "opportunities" and I use that term looslely for many of the items. Much of them simply sellers looking for buyers but if you are looking for suppliers...well hey, maybe this is the place for you.

 

The forum allows registered users to communicate on a given subject or opportunity before deciding if they want to make direct contact. Business idea items are categrorized in various ways to help find items of interest within given industries and types of requirements such as funding, business partners, planning etc.

 

All in all Business-Idea.com is worth a look to find startup businesses, partners or even just to get ideas about what business might be right for you.
